Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how TriFase ("the app," "we," "us") handles information when you use it. TriFase is an electrical load-balancing utility for electricians and tradespeople, developed by CodaCore. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Data you create in the app. By default, the boards and loads you create are stored entirely on your device, in a local database, and are never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the app, or using the "Delete all data" option in Settings, permanently erases this information.

Signing in and account data (optional). Signing in to TriFase is optional. You can choose to sign in with your Google account or create an account with an email and password to unlock backup and sync for your boards across devices, and a 7-day ad-free trial. If you do, we collect and store, through Firebase Authentication (a Google service): your email, display name, and profile photo (when available), your password — only for email/password sign-in, stored encrypted, with no access on our part to it in plain text — and a unique account identifier. We use this data only to identify your account, link your boards to it, and manage the ad-free trial period, and we don't share it with third parties other than our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase).

Backup and sync for your boards. If you sign in, the boards you create — name, description, phases, and loads — are also stored in the cloud via Cloud Firestore (Google Firebase), linked to your account, so they can be recovered when you switch devices or reinstall the app, and kept in sync across your devices. This content is only accessible through your authenticated account and isn't used for advertising, behavioral analysis, or any purpose beyond backup and sync.

Data we do not collect. We do not collect financial data, such as card numbers — subscriptions are processed by Google Play and by RevenueCat, our payment processor, which only receives your account's unique identifier, no other personal data. If you don't sign in, we don't collect your name, email, or any other personal information.

3. Third-party advertising (Google AdMob)

TriFase displays ads via Google AdMob to keep access to the app free. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect information such as your advertising identifier, general device data, and approximate location. This processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the list of Ad Technology Providers from Google.

4. Legal basis and your rights

The legal basis for processing data related to personalized ads depends on your location — see Section 3: for most users, it is legitimate interest, with the option to opt out of personalization at any time; for users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, it is your consent, collected through the consent screen shown in the app.

You can control ad personalization:

• In the app itself, under Settings > About (see Section 3 for the options available based on your region).
• On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (or "Delete advertising ID" on Android 13 or later).
• On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or Settings → TriFase → turn off "Allow Tracking."

5. Children's privacy

TriFase is a professional tool for electricians and tradespeople, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Data retention and your rights

Boards and loads you create live only on your device as long as you don't sign in — in that case, we don't retain this data ourselves because we never receive it. If you sign in, your account data and the content of your boards are stored for as long as your account exists. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained per the Google Privacy Policy.

You can, at any time, request confirmation of processing, access, correction, portability, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent, by contacting us at info@codacore.com.br.

When you delete your account, we erase the personal data and content linked to it from the services we control, keeping no copy — see Section 7. Data handled by third-party providers — Google Firebase (authentication and storage) and RevenueCat/Google Play (subscriptions) — follows those providers' own retention and deletion policies; a subscription or purchase record stays with them, outside your in-app account, and can be restored if you use TriFase again.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account and all data associated with it at any time — from the app (Settings → "Delete account") or from the website or by email, without needing the app installed. Deleting the account does not cancel active subscriptions or remove your Google Play purchase history — that is handled by Google Play itself.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
